More important that the generally unproductive debates is the fact that the US, even in this contentious election, needs to learn how to actually show up to the polls. The highest voter turnout we've had was 66% which, in my opinion, is absolutely abysmal considering that we don't even have to physically get to a polling station vote, anymore. If it's not +90% voter turnout this year, I am at loss as to what any US citizen could possibly be waiting for.
