This is a decent enough list of things to explore as an absolute beginner.
I was hoping for something a bit more involved, maybe a showcase of getting some _useful_ oss services running? Or perhaps configuring your system better?
it feels like the author wanted to make a very basic, yet interesting, list that would allow the reader to then go and explore other topics they might be interested in and dive into the details from there.
