Because my dinosaur company doesn't allow "AI tools" and I felt the need to see what all the hype was about I challenged myself to build a quick Chrome Extension in a weekend using Cursor (and avante.nvim). I also wanted an excuse to deploy Tailscale Funnel in production, which I used for the backend.
This is the result. This Chrome Extension embeds the probability of delay right there into Google Flights so that you KNOW what you're buying.
It uses a very simple model based on (in descending importance) departure hour, day of week, airline, airport and seasonality.
