Ask HN: What's missing from the OpenAI API docs?

I have recently started tinkering with the OpenAI API. My goal is to learn the model's capabilities and build projects with them. I have written a few programs with the text generation API following the docs. For the most part, the docs are good. But I feel the code samples are very limited. I wish there were more elaborate tutorials/examples.
