Yes, it's an absolute swamp of information out there. It's nearly impossible to know what is true and what isn't.
But not everything is a meticulous plan by Russia or China. We have FAR more enemies than that, and this kind of social agitation is cheap and easy. And the vast majority of the worst stuff comes from fellow Americans. And a lot of it isn't even intentional.
If you immediately point to China and Russia as the source of all this, you do not understand internet culture.
