Can we go back to times when restaurants had their own staff...

I was a dedicated grubhub user for a while until it became very obvious how much extra they were charging. My tactic now is to go the restaurant website and click whatever online ordering they prefer. Usually 5-10% cheaper.

I do fondly remember the days of just calling a restaurant and paying cash on delivery, although that really is less convenient and more prone to errors. I'd think you could do something very similar just over text messaging and have fewer misunderstandings.
