It’s interesting to me that the theoretical framework the new administration is acting from seems very shaky.

Also this seems at odds with the administrations new tech admirers who I assume like H1B workers for a variety of reasons.

This is good for the US. H1B is being manipulated and citizens are losing jobs because of racial discrimination by foreigners, once in a position of power. There are plenty of highly skilled engineers already in the US without jobs, and anyone who tells otherwise is lying.
