Ad-free Facebook is going away on December 3 (old.reddit.com)

A very old 90s-style interface. I used it for years to avoid messenger, but they broke that a year or two ago.

It's a stripped down interface meant for developing countries that include free FB access on metered data plans. No ads, no javascript. It's much lighter than the normal shit even with ad blocker and whatnot. Messenger has been fixed for a few years now.
