This never ending slowly creeping lawfare attack on individual freedom (through both judicial and legislative avenues) is one of the reasons I am willing to spend more money on "piracy" than whatever it costs to rent access to media.
Germany I hear is one of the worst on piracy. In the united states the worst that will happen is your ISP cancels your service. In germany ? Up to 1000 euro fine and possible jail time. Absolute joke.
