Article uses "carbon" and "carbon dioxide" interchangeably. This material supposedly absorbs "carbon," and then releases a gas? Definitely not written by a techie!
Unfortunately, carbon capture is just not feasible at the scale necessary to ameliorate global warming. But this could still be a useful technology.
