It reminds me of a concept of “micro-district” from ussr. Everything that people need should be accessible by walking. Obviously list of things needed decided by government.

True for many communist countries. It was one of their better ideeas.

Also one of their better ideeas. In my country, after the fall of communism, all of the shops were replaced by banks and pharmacies. Even the post offices moved out.

The government being elected representatives who are there to put forth their constituents best interests.

We need to move beyond this far right "gunermant" bad nonsense and start holding our officials accountable. We shouldn't cuckold ourselves to the capitalist's whims because we're too impotent to assert ourselves.
