Ask HN: How are AI agents and LLMs delivering real value in your company?
I’m curious about the real-world impact of AI agents and LLMs in your workplace. Beyond the hype, where are they actually making a difference?
Specifically:
— What are your best use cases? What does the ACTUAL input (data, tasks) look like, and what’s the output (results, deliverables)? — What’s the ROI? How many hours or dollars have you saved? Are there measurable productivity gains? — Has anyone lost their job? or have roles shifted to new types of work because of AI? — Any less-obvious use cases that turned out to be surprisingly effective?
Would love to hear about the tools you’re using, the workflows you’ve built, and what you’ve learned along the way

The savings are significant. AI generated report costs us 0.5-1 dollar, human analyst can do 1-3 reports per day at cost of 150 USD. Some of analysts will be let go at the end of the year as far as I know. Others on the other hand have adapted, became necessary part of the process and will work at different level - prompt writting, data quality checks at large scale etc.
We have visited recently a simliliar company like ours in another country. They had similiar project to ours and have failed despite having competent IT team.
So far, so good.
