We have 2 kings now. Open bribery. Is there any way to fix it?

Altman is planning to make a $1 million personal donation to Trump’s inauguration fund ... Amazon and Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, confirmed this week they had each donated $1 million ...

these donations will do nothing to change Trump's mind anyway, this is happening because these tech CEOs think that Trump is a vain baffoon that can be swayed by gifts and sweet words. I'm sure to some degree it's true for anybody but Trump has often spoken out against ppl who try this on him. I still remember him talking about his dinner with Romney where he laughed about this kind of a behavior.
What? Imagine if they didn't pay for protection. He would attack them in public just as he did during his first term. They're paying for favorable treatment and you're wrong.
So no attacks from Trump against these tech companies in the future or your theory is wrong, I guess we will see if that works out for them.
That's not true. They're paying for favorable treatment and you're being absurd. Just as Musk paid a quarter billion to be a close advisor.
"Your institutions will not save you." And neither will your corporations. Spineless sods.
The open corruption in US is disheartening. Feels like we’ll become another Russia where this gets so accepted in society, that people feel hopeless.

Democracy is broken.
