I’ve been thinking about ways to improve GPS accuracy particularly in large cities to provide precise locations , route optimization and context aware navigation. After doing some research I believe this can be achieved using foundational models.
Foundational models can:
- Interpret natural language queries and convert them into routing actions.
- Integrate various data sources like traffic API ,weather conditions and satellite data to improve decision making.
- Be used for multimodal analysis. Combining textual input , map data and real world signals.
- Be used for route optimization by analyzing patterns in existing Map API data.
I Worked on a rough prototype of what an AI GPS could look like.
