I wish more people that are cheering him as a hero would at least acknowledge this difference. That people killing people because THEY feel they are guilty is a bad thing. That's what the law is for, and courts, and juries. If we devolve into vigilantism we are in trouble. Any perceived sleight will become a reason to celebrate cold blooded murder.
I also would like to point out that there will be many libs/people on the left that will be up in arms about the courts using "novel" ways to prosecute him. This "unusual" method, etc... they'll rail against it.
Yet, they cheered using any novel method, unusual method, legal or illegal method to get Trump. Get him at any cost, they shouted.
Now they see the slippery slope that happens when justice isn't applied fairly and blindly.
> That's what the law is for, and courts, and juries
but it is not though, right? in your very next paragraph you went into political drivel about “libs/left” and Trump and whatnot. In this country nothing is about the law any longer, every single crime is a political charade. Is Luigi a criminal and should be either in jail for the rest of his life or executed? Absolutely. Is Trump a criminal who should be in jail for the rest of his life instead of being President? absolutely. But just as Trump will never see inside of a cell, Luigi may also not spend the rest of his life in one :)
What crime did Trump commit? Why should he be in jail or executed?
I'm not aware of a single crime that he's committed and been convicted for that wasn't politically motivated. Both charging and convicted by the jury for political reasons.

It's rarely mentioned because it's irrelevant. He wasn't shot because of the insider trading, and the insider trading doesn't morally justify the shooting.
RE :....Was not shot because of insider trading ...." This could have certainly COULD been a motivation - as some claim to have lost many millions $$$. However , now the accused guy caught - and his motivation claimed to be discerned by his notebook ... Insider trading and fraud accusations if proven in court , show he was dodgy and other in company also dodgy as others suffered BIG losses , claimed in media articles.
Which is weird, because whenever there's a high-profile police shooting the media goes out of their way to dig up dirt on the victim to morally justify the shooting.
For a second I got excited, because I thought Mangione was being charged with actual dueling, à la Burr and Hamilton. Then I read the article and realized it was talking about conflicting charges, not charges of dueling, and suddenly the story was much less colorful.

Luigi, it's obvious, he murdered someone.
So, no, I don't understand your point?
you are writing exact words to prove my point… :)
Google the phrase , United healthcare executives insider trading.
ie "...The late Brian Thompson and two other executives were accused of dumping stock prior a DOJ antitrust investigation into the company.....
It is puzzling why this is rarely mentioned in media articles about this matter?
