That wind is too expensive is also simply not true - it’s cost per kWh is also constantly decreasing. I suspect he along with many people with have their if not biggest wtf moment when they find out that the fuel crackers the petroleum industry use at the moment, can utilise vegetable oil feed stock - if I could find a quick credible link in the web I'd post it, what I read was in a published oil industry book a few years back, (it blew my mind) so I guess that was fact checked.
Yes that green fuel produced will be more expensive but it saves having to throw out all the old machinery that's only used infrequently. Certainly that will mean less people leaving their cars running whilst parked to keep their car cool while they do their shopping or having a meeting.
