Has anyone seen or tried to get LLMs to generate music?

I just got Claude to try generate a short Christmas piano piece in TidalCycle which wasn't great, but I wonder if anyone has really tried to get this working? It'd be cool to have an LLM-music off at an Algorave, where each LLM DJs for half an hour updating the code live.

Basically, for now, LLM-generated music is only great for the person creating it and dreaming about overnight success.

My sister was sure she would be a famous DJ after generating a few songs that my mom would swear it was the best thing she had heard in a while. I would like it just to make her happy. After a few weeks she noticed how bad it was, mainly after she couldn't hear "other people's" generated songs.
