Detect and remove dead code automatically with "TypeScript Remove (tsr)" (kazushikonosu.io)

Can I add a comment to some dead code so that it gets left alone? (Similar to how you can switch off minting for a single line.) Use case is when a utility function is currently unused, but probably will be needed again in the future.
