What to use for building a second brain?

this is for people suffering from information fatigue...

if you feel like you're consuming far more knowledge than you can retain, the solution is not to try remember more, but offload much of what you already know to trusted systems.

i learned that, besides psychedelics, one possible practice that could expand consciousness is 'personal knowledge management'.

here, 'expand consciousness' just means: • ability to retain more information • create more connections between things we consume

the brain is just a vast network of connections between pieces of information. Similarly, by offloading what you already know to external systems, you can slowly build what could be a 'second brain'.

in this sense, a second brain could be a powerful tool to help manage and even actively create connections between things we learn everyday.

many software tools (powerful notes apps) that enable that type of thing today.

i wonder what are some of the tools people here use for building a second brain? if any

Don’t overthink this. Just take good, organized notes. Use an app like Obsodian to organize them. If you insist upon having modern technology involved, get a remarkable tablet or something.
