Ask HN: Can ipkvm bypass IT at work?

Im thinking of buying ipkvm like jetkvm and connecting it to my work pc And then connecting to it from home using tailscale

Hypothetically speeking is it detectable ? If so is there any workaround ?

Yes it is detectable, if IT wants to, and they should be monitoring what software is installed on the work PC because of potential security issues. This means you could end up in trouble (including termination).
