People actually look for music on myspace? Dang. What's the world coming to?
Yes, they do. It's the de facto directory for music. This should be a little better.
Whatever! All they have on there is hiphop. There are plenty of good music sites out there.
Man, these guys are really awesome. The first episode is really high quality. I'm digging some of those other bands as well. Definitely one to keep my eye on as I've never heard of these guys before.

Thanks. We are still pretty new, which is why you haven't heard of us before. As for your comment that you like some of the bands, that is great. We are being very specific in who we feature on the show.

Myspace really does suck if you're trying to find good music. I usually just end up browsing through pages and pages of junk. Every now and then I'll find an okay one. Rarely do I find an awesome band. This "Band" show could be good.
i still think the general web doesn't have enough faceted browsing (or something) ... like does youtube have tags yet? are we all overspamming tags? regardless, when it comes to really finding things on a non-regional site, you feel like the needles in the haystack are just that much smaller...

As a part-time, wannabe musician, I am loving this concept! My music has been on myspace for a year, and even my friends have a hard time navigating to it easily. I can't wait to check this out!
This looks like a very cool way to find good new music. They filter to make sure you only see "good" bands. That's pretty cool.
who uses myspace? I'm from the east coast and here about it's facebook.
Band ftw. It seems like it would be a lot easier to just watch this show rather than troll GaySpace. You can only find one band an episode, so there is that, but overall much better. Entertaining too.
I suppose I use MySpace differently than some. When I hear about a band I do a Google search and their MySpace page is usually near the top. I use MySpace to listen to a few tracks to get a feel for them. I never use MySpace to find new music. For that I use a variety of sources including Oh My Rockness (highly recommended if you are in Chicago, LA or NYC).

hey, this is Scott here the Cohost.

We told our friends to check out the article and comment it if they wanted to.

Yes, something is afoot. On HN, "it kicks!" definitely does not get 3 points.

What's worse: their taste in music is TERRIBLE.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion for sure. I think their taste is >>AWESOME<<. Come on, look at the first band, Brightwood? They're absolutely amazing. They were in Hollywood just a few weeks ago performing and going on a national tour here. Why don't you share some bands with them and try to get them featured.

It's about making them known to the world and everyone has different taste.

These are all diff ppl I know dude. What's wrong with that? I know 3 of them myself.
Hahaha! Bold article. So who wrote it? Scott or Brian? Love the show guys.
I think this is an awesome. And the article is really funny.
By the way, these guys are going through the HECK of startup right now through bootstrapping and really going garageband with this. I think there's an awful lot that the people floating around here can learn by what they're doing.

BRAVO GUYS AND GIRL. You're really doing a great job with what you have.

I hope everyone can see the value in such efforts and learn from it. Its the real spirit of entrepreneurship.
