What do I want to look for in Newegg refurbished Dell laptops? I've got a Dell E7470 Latitude that's served me well, but what should I look for to replace it? Dell hardware seems reliable enough, but the model naming is confusing.
Not sure, but how I did it half a decade ago was to start from your docking requirements, find a Dell dock that supports the requirements, and work backwards from that (what models does the dock support?).
I used to really like Dell XPS laptops (had a series of then since 2002 or so) until I moved over to the Mac (MacBook Air 15" currently) and it was just all around better (lighter weight, faster, more reliable hardware.)

It makes sense that they are adopting Mac-like lingo as Mac has the mindshare and they have to work within those bounds, rather than trying to work in their own. It shows how dominant Apple is in its marketing.

I recently bought a Dell laptop and was floored by the amount of bloatware it came packed with. They'll sell you a 16GB laptop and reserve half the memory for their and their partners shitware.

Seriously, companies will do any to copy apple except make a desirable product.
