I’m aware of the title conventions. Should I have reposted the entire text of the tweet, then? It’s not a random tweet, it was reposted by YC founder Paul Graham.
People's retweets are generally not a great HN topic, you can more or less derive that from the site guidelines as well.
I agree in general, but I think perhaps the founder of the site we are discussing on reposting right wing grift media is worthy of discussion. I’ll let dang decide.
He hasn't been involved with YC or HN for many years, as far as I know. But 'dumb shit people tweet' is a bad HN topic either way. Graham (and just about everybody) has retweeted far dumber shit than that. You'd need a separate site just to talk about dumb shit people tweet. Or use the site where they twote it.
