How to become a meteorologist without a degree?

"I'm interested in pursuing a career in meteorology, but I don't have a formal degree in the field. Is it possible to become a meteorologist through self-study, certifications, or other non-degree routes? What resources or alternative paths do experienced meteorologists recommend for someone eager to dive into weather science and forecasting?"

I'm not a meteorologist, but modern meteorology is a lot of physics and math and supercomputers.
Here in Argentina, meny universities have a public page of each curse that show the content and the books (but usualy not tthe videos of the clases). You can try to find somethng like that and follow the recomended books.

There may be hard parts, like learning to recognize the clouds without someone on your side pointing the mistakes (???).

My mother is a retired meteorogists. She remember that in her time they made the forecasts with maps (of paper) and pencils. And she says that now most of that work is done by the computer. She still goes to the national metheorologial office where they share some of the data (satelite images, rain detectd by radar, computer predictions, ...) and she sometimes give us a personalied forecast. There is a lot of info online if you want to try.
