How can you gift the man who has everything? How can you help the man who knows everything? We're mere mortals and can only bow our heads in the presence of our Overlord.
I imagine the approach is some analogy of how you continue to love your adult child who suffers from a severe addiction and needs help, but is going to cause a lot of harm along the way to either recovery or self inflicted death. Try to improve outcomes when opportunities present themselves, but also protect yourself.
Being the wealthiest guy on earth who constantly puts himself on public display, I would imagine he pays an army of people to protect his perception of himself. I wonder: is this an example?

I do get the impression that he wants desperately to be liked, but is just, well, really really good at giving people reasons to dislike him.
