Does Google have customer support for pixel phones yet?

I bought a pixel a 11 years ago.

The hardware had bugs, which Google concealed and refused to admit existed. There was absolutely no way to contact anyone, no updates or fixes ever issued for the problem, essentially everyone was completely ignored like no company I had ever experienced before.

It was impossible to even get exchanges or returns.

Has anyone with a recent pixel device had issues? If so, have you had any success in real customer support?

I'm not talking about some FAQ or forum where other customers help, that just happens to be hosted on Google's servers. I mean, could you easily get exchanges and returns? Could you contact, well, anyone? Anyone at all?

I'm thinking of diving into the Pixel world again, and would love to know first.

Does Google have actual phone support where you can talk to a real live human? No. (Although does any phone manufacturer?)

That said, I’ve had no issues with either of my recent Pixel phones & haven’t heard of widespread problems with either the Pixel 8 or 9 online. Google themselves seem to have been fairly good at recalling phones for actual problems. I don’t know whether they’re better or worse than, say, Apple though.

Hmm. I do thank you for the data point re: your phones, it is helpful, but my concern is when a phone breaks. Or has edge case issues. Every manufacturer is going to have these issues, and I want strong, easy to access, viable support then.

It may be they have improved recalls, if you've heard of them doing so. That's a plus, at least.

Thanks
