Xbox 360 security in details: the long way to RGH3 (swarm.ptsecurity.com)

Did anyone ever do a write up on how MS used detect and flag the various dvd drive firmware hacks? It was a huge cat and mouse game, with fw hackers making bold claims like stealth undetectable fw etc. It was a very interesting time.
