It's hard not to think the rule of law in the US is slowly being eroded and SCOTUS to some extent empowered Trump & Co to act at will with no sense that they ever could be held responsible for their actions.

SCOTUS effectively gave Trump immunity from prosecution for any act he does as President.

I think those fired should unite and form their own private investigators company. I think business-customers could trust it more than the to be purged FBI.

There's a reason why these specific agents are purged, it is that they are honest and willing to serve the public, as opposed to serving the King.

An actual private structure running parallel to the pseudo-private structure that the American polity is turning itself into.
