Show HN: TalkNotes – A site that turns your ideas into tasks (talknotes.tech)
I created TalkNotes few weeks ago and it started getting traction in hours. It quickly went from 0 -> $700 revenue with One time payment and I decided to remove the one time payment, the line went straight down but since then it rising little by little and has now reached $150 MRR. I'm stoked since this is one of my best projects.
The idea is to speak freely into a microphone about anything on your mind—meetings, emails, tasks—and let AI help organize it all. It turns your thoughts into a structured to-do list, notes, flashcards, and more. I created it because spending 15 minutes every day setting up traditional productivity apps is a waste of time. I thought it might resonate with others looking for a similar solution.
There's a fair bit of churn since I think with something like this users either love it or never end up using it. I could probably add some more retention strategies like reminders and other productivity tools integration like Google Calendar, and more...
If this sounds interesting, I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions. Feel free to share how you currently manage your daily tasks—always keen to learn from this community.

[ 5.6 ms ] story [ 103 ms ] threadfwiw yapthread.com is another product offering in this space.
Thanks, though, and good luck. Imma' keep lookin'.
Just a heads up, the pricing page says the yearly plan is $90/yearly or $15/month billed annualy (grey text under "Yearly"). I'm guessing it should say $7.5/month.
I’d say 1 free week or 100 free recordings. If you aren’t sure of trying that, you can always position it as a limited time offer and roll it back.
In any case at least a few demos would be helpful.
I am also thinking of swapping the flashcard features with Playground where you can choose over +100 premade styles like video script, newletter, blog post, journal, tweet, podcast planner, podcast script....or create your own!
Why? You still have to brainstorm the core concept. 15 mins on paper vs 15 mins of talking. I like the idea though
I built something similar but different -- specifically just for tasks without voice -- https://asht.ar -- that might be worth checking out!
We are at 1000+ users and growing! ^^
Awesome to see these ideas turn into real products. Congrats.
I think this is a future worth exploring with AI, btw congrats on the launch.

Pretty sure this is against the Show Hn guidelines.
I'd start by trying to clarify how this is any different than turning on Dictation Mode in the ChatGPT mobile app with a custom GPT prompt of something along the lines of:
"The user will be providing a running stream of thoughts, ideas, and misc text. Please transform the text into a set of actionable items. For complicated items, use nested bullet points."
Codify Your Solution: If you have a problem, we’ll find a solution. Already have one? Provide details (URL, text, audio recording or file upload). We’ll convert it into a structured program and assign an AI agent to guide you to your desired outcome.

I'm building an AI wrapper product as well. Would love to exchange notes about distribution and marketing strategy you followed.
Are there any data export feature? Can I download everything in text files? Org mode?
Does the Flashcards feature integrate into Anki?
I hope this is not intentional, but seeing this _dishonest_ approach it prevents me from exploring the product further, as I'm not sure what else might be hidden underneath
