While Canada can't take on the US, their going after red state products is interesting. If Mexico, China, and other future impacted nations take on the same (poor) red states they might be able to break a few individual states. And that might put fear into Senators from other US states and make them second guess their votes/support of Trump. Can't imagine Kentucky nor Alabama have super resilient economies.

Edit: I imagine individuals would also pick up a boycott of highly targeted products in support of Canada if such a list were coordinate/published.

Makes sense for partners in warcrimes who bombed and murdered together…
