This is an opinion piece. The author is suggesting that people without authority are interfering with government operations, and that this constitutes a coup.
The government operations under scrutiny are within the Executive Branch of government. The people involved have been hired by the White House which runs the Executive Branch. The White House was recently elected by a majority vote in November, 2024 and inaugurated into office in January of 2025.
