Cool write up. I got back into watching Bush Mechanics and Black As last night - they do some alternator hacks among others.
Was also looking into how brushless motors work, and how they compare to brushed.
Didn’t really realize alternators have brushes.
Anyway nice to see this after researching mosfets and similar components relevant to brushed motors today.
