This is unlikely to work and not a good way to handle this. One thing I learned the hard way and am happy to pass on to you guys: you can't fight the community and win.
Rather, the thing to do in cases like this is email hn@ycombinator.com. If it's really a clear case of an article being interesting and otherwise on topic of HN, we'll turn off the flags.
In this case it took a day to do it because I spent most of yesterday offline. Occasionally that happens.
