Show HN: An MVP Approach to Translating an Arabic Novel, Kafka in Tangier (kafkaintangier.substack.com)

A contemporary Moroccan narrative inspired by Kafka's Metamorphosis serialized like a tech startup’s MVP. I launched the experiment in December 2021 to translate and publish my debut novel, "Kafka in Tangier," as a serialized Substack project.

The novel reimagines Kafka’s existential themes in modern-day Morocco, blending magical realism with sharp sociopolitical critique. I released it in weekly installments, inviting real-time reader feedback to shape the translation and narrative pacing. The draft remains freely available online, and the novel was later self-published in February 2023.

Now, I’m considering using the same approach for one of my other four Arabic novels. I’d love your feedback on the experiment.
