These always look like they're in show motion. Is that too extend the length of the generated video?
and very high contrast / sharp.. interesting.
Text to video for ads. That's horrible. I love all these generated videos and stuff coming out, but I can see how in a couple of years we're going to be inundated with AI generated garbage everywhere trying to sell us stuff. It's already messing up YouTube. Maybe it'll be good for people who make quality stuff and have Patreon accounts because people will be forced to pay for media if they want quality.
Just don't watch ads. If you cannot avoid watching ads, vote for legislation that will allow you to avoid watching ads.

This! Technology can only lead to dystopia if we let it do so.

That future is already here, though it is mostly image not video.

"Goku®" is a registered trademark of Toei Animation. [0]

They might want to consider changing the name or else they will risk a trademark complaint that GitHub will respond to from a Japanese company (Toei Animation) if it gets too popular.

there’s some provision for companies with the same name that are in different fields (eg Delta airlines and Delta that makes the faucet in your bathroom)

However I wonder if video generation and animation would be considered too similar

It's not just "Goku", they are also using the term "saiyan".
Why not link to the paper instead of the GitHub? The model in this repo is for an LLM.
