The worst thing to happen to the EU. Regulate regulate regulate.
That's the "democracy" part in "liberal democracy".

Regulations are constraints imposed by the government, which is elected by the people.

If you go full liberal (without the democracy), like the US is doing right now, you don't remove the fact that there are constraints. You just remove the fact that they are set by a government representing the people.

Without regulations, the powerful dictate those constraints (even if we don't call them "laws" at that point). And what we see over and over in history is that they usually don't care more about the average people than an elected government does. On the contrary.

If you'd rather abide by crazy, narcissistic billionaires laws, good for you.
