Breaking Heavy Textbooks in to Smaller Books for Easy Carrying (instructables.com)

I'm glad that they included the disclaimer that "bibliophiles will have trouble with this step" The whole thing semi horrifies me.

I may not be as opposed if the book came bound in sections already separated.

But then again, the usefulness of many textbooks is the ability to jump back and fourth between sections, and the glossary at the back.
