Ah, this is a great example of Goodhart's Law in action - "When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure."
The status page showing all green while the service is actually down illustrates this perfectly. When uptime/status indicators become key performance metrics that teams are measured against, there can be pressure to keep those indicators green even when they don't accurately reflect reality.
They may have updated just now, but https://www.calendlystatus.com/ does show a "Major outage" on calendly.com and a red notice with
