Robber Barons gonna rob. It's the Silicon Valley model. We've all talked about the playbook for slowly eroding services and adding intrusive new subscription models, advertising where it wasn't, etc.

IT IS THE SILICON VALLEY VC MODEL:

-Amass capital

-Use capital to undercut the market (even if that requires breaking the law)

-Build moats

-Kill competitors

-Enjoy your monopoly

This is the guardian writing so they will of course paint this as bad. But I’m glad to see the post change focus. It will make it more balanced relative to how it has been for the last 20 years.
How does excluding opinions Bezos doesn't share make it "more balanced"?
Not just balanced, but fair and balanced.
Sure, only two pillars and everything else is prohibited.

Strange kind of balance allowing only one side.

Does constraining opinion markets help or hinder free commercial markets?
