Were any of the ships cutting cables in Europe also Chinese crewed?
According to the article, not confirmed yet but "Two high-profile incidents in the Baltic Sea involved Chinese ships and remain under investigation."
It says the ships were Chinese. But were they crewed by Chinese or Russians or someone else?
I can't see the motive for China. Taiwan however is another story.

What's the motive for Taiwan to cut Baltic Sea fibre cables?
There is none for Taiwan as far as I can tell. They’ve provided aid to Ukraine so it wouldn’t make sense. But there is clear incentive for China to be involved in cable damage, given it is already supporting Russia economically and militarily. China is the biggest adversary for many other nations (the US, Canada, the EU, India, etc) so for them, there is benefit in making this conflict expensive for its adversaries.
Surely you don't think that's what I meant!
