The article literally says the 21 are people from the digital service. In other words not “musk engineers”, but federal workers now refusing to do their job. The headline calling them “DOGE staffers” is misleading.
The reason why they're called DOGE staffers is because Trump renamed the US Digital Service to the US DOGE Service. That's why they're DOGE Staffers. They were there before January 20th, when it was still the US Digital Service.
Oh I understand that. I’m not saying it’s factually incorrect, just that it is misleading. These articles are trying to suggest there is some kind of dissent from within but that’s not really what this is.
