setting aside any particular ideological perspective, I think what is interesting here is the (inevitable?) expansion of soft power warfare into a new domain. I would be shocked if there are not other networks like this out there by other countries, whether on the public internet or more directly backchanneled.
man its so easy nowadays to duck out of any actual democratic institutions like debate, negotiations and compromises. You can run a "democratic "nations manufacturing sector and middle class aground and do nothing for a generation , and its all "foreign powers" and totalitarians. The house was hollow long before, the walls load bearing left and right, a constitution thin veneer smeared on rot.
