Ask HN: How do I know if I'm shadow banned? =)

even a single character response would let me know if I'm banned or my not seeing any upvotes or downvotes the last week or so is normal and the the effect of having been "shadow banned" as has happened to me elsewhere. Thanks in advance.

If by shadow-banned you mean that others can't see your submissions and comments: try logging out from HN and then check for yourself.

Make a post, then log out, and check if you can see the post. If you can't, either you have to visit an eye doctor, or you are shadowbanned.

You can always use incognito to view your comment history.

You’re not shadow banned but folks generally don’t appreciate repetitive spamming on this site. You keep posting about “sunami ai” multiple times when one post would have been sufficient. It’s not that interesting really.
