Pure FAFO. Love it. Hating Musk before it was cool has its upsides but I really can’t help thinking about how absolute power corrupts absolutely.
I'd really love to meet some of these people IRL to see how their brain ticks.

On the internet I see so many people that make politics their whole life. In the real world I live in a pretty left leaning areas with many Teslas and no one I know is interested in getting rid of theirs.

Frankly politics isn't even a consideration for me when I buy a product. I guess that makes me a bad person by internet standards, but I really only care about getting a good product.

The most popular car colours are white, grey and black [1]. People don’t generally want opinionated cars. Driving a Tesla is now politically opinionated.

If everyone drives a Tesla it’s not opinionated. I live in a small blue town in a deep red state. Folks are dumping their Teslas.

Nationally, Teslas have depreciated 10% over the last year, Cybertrucks 60% [2].

If you are not threatened by an ideology of death, then you are a proponent. Even the suggestion of nazism or communism or feudalism should result in scorn and massive repercussions.
