How do you get to be a "genius"? I'd love to be a genius, but it seems less dependent on what you do and more on what others do. Presumably one needs to be "annointed" by an independent body that assesses your body of work (e.g. a professional body, or the MSM). Another path is to be "annointed" by a body that is seeking external validation for its own action or posture.
