> MAGA Wants to End Capitalism as We Know It

They may say they want to end capitalism in that sense, but their actions show they they actually want to end it like Benito Mussolini.

It's the same bait-and-switch playbook we've already seen them do with "free speech", "freedom of religion", "states' rights", "law and order", etc.

It's never an actual principle to be upheld, just a slogan to twist and slap into the side of self-serving power.

Adam Smith is a marxist? weird
Seems like capitalists don’t know that.
Draw out the partisan poison from this policy and what we have is a move to inject more humanity into the way that companies are run - I find that very appealing.
I don’t think that’s what it is. As I read this analysis, they want to have large private family firms and not large public firms. They also want a government that gets out of those firms’ way. That’s leaves no public accountability of any kind. That sounds like oligarchy to me. The workers are not going to prosper in that world.
Yeah, imagine if there was a rule that all corporations must be 51% owned by a single human.

That's great for dynastic oligarchies, devastating to smaller competitors trying to grow, and fatal to a co-op.

It’s just oligarchy
I swear no one in America seems to understand that word with our 8th grade reading levels. And fascism has been overused to the point it’s worthless. Let’s just call it corruption, that’s a word that everyone can understand.
You think people understand corruption? If they did, would they find anything remotely wrong with it?

Folks are pretty dishonest about their motivations, overall. I don’t even think it’s a partisan issue anymore.
