I'm ambivalent about this. I agree that Starlink can provide good enough rural Internet much faster than fiber. But I also think fiber is the endgame even if it costs more. Rural electrification took decades but it was worth it and I think rural fiber would also be worth it. Of course you can do both but that will cost even more.
