Wouldn't the smartest thing to do right now is selling crypto, buying stock indices, gold at worse and real estate at best? At least you have your physical land deed with that.

Popularity covers the demand side. For the supply, it's perfectly scarce.
In a world of fiat currencies effortlessly printed out of thin air, a liquid, divisible digital asset with perfect scarcity is going to be quite popular.

And google's recent hyped break thru of 100 qubits. Needs to scale to 1m qubits to do this.
