How is this different from the existing Ecoflow/Bluetti AIO battery/solar generator? It's not portable, and unless theres some magic that lets you charge them without running new wires, I don't see how you're going to charge these devices from solar.

$999 for 1.6kWH for a glorified UPS is expensive.

Edit: looks like it only supports 100W of solar, which is almost useless, apart from having to run wires above your fridge and under your TV directly to solar panels (as shown in their marketing images).

Better battery chemistry, higher density, and a local API you can interface with.

Other UPSs or "solar batteries" in the 1.6kWh ballpark are similarly priced at around $1000 USD. Those are dumb devices, so this seems like a steal.

Generac backup generators are a good whole house solution, either nat gas or propane.
You have to be a homeowner to get one of those, right? Pila seems like a far more modular approach that is relevant for people who don't own a home or have $10k ++ to spend on a backup solution
