“ Tesla sales were down 24% in the Netherlands, 42% in Sweden, 48% in both Norway and Denmark, 45% in France, 55% in Italy, 10% in Spain and 53% in Portugal, official data showed this week.

investors are still debating whether the EV maker remains overpriced.

Outside Europe, Australia reported a 66% drop in Tesla registrations in the month, while the brand's worldwide sales of cars produced in China were down 49% due to intense pressure from Chinese rivals.” [0]

How bad must it get before the board shows Musk the door?

Elon should say "good show!" as it's up to his level of light-hearted fun troll.
The thin-skinned fool is likely crying to his orange puppet about imposing tariffs on Korean cars.
They trolled themselves by admitting they sell inferior cars that people only buy because politics
I own a Tesla and after buying it I was shopping for a car for my daughter and tried an EV6 while at the dealership. Compared to the EV6 the Tesla is a go-cart. The 2021 Tesla rumbles, has terrible shocks, needs new extremely expensive tires every year, the door handles freeze and feel like they're going to come off in my hands, there's no heat pointed at your feet, the lining of the trunk is peeling off. Meanwhile the EV6 feels like a real car and it was ~5k less. After driving that car I know this is the last Tesla I'll own Musk or no Musk.
At least half things you said is a lie.
Man, are you ok? You're doing nothing but having a meltdown over Tesla's reputation.

Do you own the company?

I think parent had a meltdown over Kia. Pointing out lies isn’t a meltdown you think you are.
> Man, are you ok?

Some people are objectively not ok when it comes to cults. There is no rational way of deprogramming them, they will paradoxically go deeper and deeper in the face of facts and logical arguments. You really can't debate religion.

And when facts run dry - personal attacks start.
I apologize if this came as a personal attack, I would never insult or judge someone based on faith. I'm looking at some of your comment history and it seems you keep Elon Musk in high regard and would jump at the change to defend him and his businesses even when faced with objective facts. I do the same IRL with Jesus. You do you, no judging.
So once again, facts are easy to provide or refute. You can keep your emotions to yourself.
>needs new extremely expensive tires every year

Huh?

Rubbish, Hyundai and Kia and far ahead of Tesla in terms of overall package.

If all you value is 0-60, then that's on you.

But sit in both cars and the quality speaks volumes.

You can tell where Tesla keep cutting costs, whereas Hyundai (yes Hyundai!) make quality.

They still sell cars without heatpump or hepa filters. They are nowhere near, especially for the cost.
They do have heatpumps now, and can upgrade standard filter to Hepa if you want. So ... your points aren't that much of a biggy.

For me, it's about quality. If you sit in a ioniq 5 or EV6 and then sit in a model 3 and tell me they're of a similar quality ... I don't know what to tell you.

Emphasis on 'overall package'.

Now compare how much that same trim costs...
Regardless. Your points are only mildly important to me. You seem to be basing your entire decision/argument on them. I repeat my proposition. Go sit in them.

The end. Sounds like you're not up for a change of mind and I'm not in the business of changing minds, but I will call shit out.

I did sit in one about 4 years ago when they came out. So did in Ioniq5. Drove Kona extensively. I choose Tesla 2 years after making comprehensive spreadsheet of all features. Kia/Hyundai weren't even close. I didn't do comprehensive drive tho, but lack of autopilot easily beats any feature Kia/Hyundai can provide.
Agree to differ. I assume it's priority variance.

Anyway, a shame you didn't wait a year or two. It's likely you could have picked up 2 for the price of 1 in today's market.

Looking at the used market where I am - Tesla prices have absolutely crashed compared to Hyundai. Crazy to buy one new and, because of the price difference, the obvious choice is to buy the Tesla used ... but I still wouldn't.

But it's funny. In the second hand market, Hyundai are the premium player! Which is actually hilarious historically speaking.

Anyway, all the best

I was in a pinch with old car giving up and with a bit of cash on hand while EVs subsidies were high and Tesla just dropped their price.

Lost about 20k NZD in depreciation, but did 62kkm. So that's nearly 15k NZD in petrol savings alone.

Looking at Ioniq5/ev6 they've depreciated same if not more.
